The Middlewich Clean Team formed as a group in February 2003 with a basic aim: "Keep Our Town Tidy".
Since then we have gone from strength to strength and today we are more
active than ever. Please browse through our web site to see what we
have been doing and what we are going to do to fulfil our aim. We pick litter & so much more !
We have a small committee and over 200 members. Litter
picking is undertaken by all members, either by joining a group litter
pick or simply by keeping an area litter free.
Our 'Litter Picking Map' shows where our members our
working. If you see an area that isn't covered and you would like to
volunteer then you can register your interest from the 'Contacting Us' page
Photographs from our projects and
our many other activities are in the "Photo Gallery" which goes
right back to early days of the Middlewich Clean Team. In addition the 'Links' page lists some related websites you may be interested in.

About Us
The Middlewich Clean Team is a voluntary group of over 200 Middlewich residents, who came together with a vision to develop and promote a culture of pride in the town and the community. We are a positive, forward thinking group who are prepared to work hard to achieve our aims.
As well as organising litter picks, we also encourage and support individuals to help us in whatever way they can, whether by picking litter in their immediate area, joining group litter picks or by highlighting problem areas. Anyone can help us ... we look forward to meeting you.
Our Mission
The vision of the Middlewich Clean Team is to develop and
promote a culture of pride in the town and community by working towards a
litter free town and a pleasant environment for all to live in. The team will do this by organising a steering/ executive
committee to work creatively with various organisations connected to the
Middlewich area. The steering committee as a whole will define the goals and tasks to be
completed by the MCT.The team will meet monthly to review progress of ongoing objectives.
Groups and organisations included in the scope of the
Middlewich Clean Team mission:
The Middlewich Town Council, the Cheshire East Council, British
Waterways, Middlewich schools, Middlewich businesses and Middlewich
residents.
